Overall, though land and water may separate us, social media has provided us with a means to connect. Throughout our exploration into social media usage in Brazil, the UK, Russia, and the USA we were able to see how technology can provide a means for global communication and connections.
Through our collaborative project, we got a chance to collaborate with one another through different social media platforms. We didn’t use the platforms discussed in our project--Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat, YouTube, ВКонтакте. However, through platforms like Discord, Slack, LinkedIn, GoogleDocs, and Github we were able to collectively contribute to making a website using the knowledge we obtained from our classes, professors, students, and other experiences.
